How Technology serves education during COVID-19

Since the emergence of the global pandemic COVID-19 in March 2020, all people's lives have changed. This disease has affected people and prevented them from practicing their lives the ways they used to be. People were instructed to stay at home, stop meeting other people, stop directly contacting other people or leaving their houses without wearing a mask, and even stopped from going to their schools.

However, education is very important to be stopped or ignored, and since going to schools is no longer an option, therefore, using technology was their first resort to solve this problem. As a result, online teaching was the official alternative in order to continue the learning process from home.

Using Technology and Online resources helped teacher, schools, universities, and students to continue teaching without being affected by the global pandemic. It allows students to learn without risking their lives and their loved ones lives from getting affected by going to schools.  There are many advantages of Online teaching, for example,

  1. It is safe, since you can learn from home.
  2. Easy access to information.
  3. Teachers can record their lessons, so the students would be able to watch and take noted anytime.
  4.  Shy students who cannot participate or speak in front of others would be more free and confident to participate.
  5. You can attend classes from any place.
  6. You can easily communicate with teachers and students.
  7. Students can get their grades immediately after the quiz, and teachers can have the grades easily.
  8. It is an opportunity to benefit from all the services that technology can provide.
