G Suite Apps

G Suite is a collection of web-based tools that help users to create and produce content and more. Through G Suite, you will get the access to many applications like: Blogger, Calendar, Slides, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Forms... etc. All what you need to get the access to all these great apps is to have a Gmail account, then you would be able to try and use any app you need.

It is obvious that G Suite apps are, in fact, Microsoft office rivals considering all the similarities between the two suites. However, there are some advantages that would make G Suite apps possibly outweigh their competitors, for example:

  • G Suite apps are built for collaboration, "It is based on the cloud and is constantly connected to Drive, Google’s cloud storage and file sharing platform. This means there is no downtime and team members can tap into work and share it at any time."(Donovan, 2020). Therefore, it is easy for teachers and students to work together as long as they "Share"  the link with their colleagues and give them the access to edit.
  • Flexible and easy access; users can access G Suite apps from any device as long as they sign in through their Gmail accounts.
  • Apps like Slides, Forms, and Docs offers offline access, so not having internet connection is not a problem as long you activate this feature.
  • Apps like Slides, Forms, and Docs also automatically save your work. Hence, you don’t have to remember to save work everytime, as it saved automatically with every edit, change, addition, or delete you made.
  • Most importantly, G suite apps mostly are Free of charge, hence students, teachers, and even small businesses should not worry about payments or loans. However, for big companies and businesses that look for more unlimited features.
